Found this book to be pretty tedious. Interesting idea, but felt disjointed between perspectives of mother and missing child. Though understand the idea of telling the story this way, didn't feel like it allowed for adequate development of characters or their connection...I couldn't engage and just kept wanting it to be over. Didn't like the overly detailed descriptions of the faith healing group and their activities, yet very little about the progression of the mother's story, who she was and how she coped. Abrupt ending was anticlimactic, yet a relief (to have it over). I had hoped this would be an enjoyable read, but just wasn't it for me.
