oh my god. I just finished this book maybe 5 minutes ago and it's one of the best books I've ever read. I found it really resonated with me, not that I could ever do what Maddie did but my biggest fear is being alone and I guess this book gave me comfort. this along with the entertainment and thrilling obstacles and apocalyptic-type setting made this book so so good and made me not want to put it down. the fact it's written in verse like a poetry book makes it so easy to read as well, and it's very easy to understand.
