Dave Filoni did a GREAT job with Rebels… But that show had other writers and co created by Simon Kinberg… Probably keeping things on track Then came MANDO and BOBAFAT… which once again had an adult in the room, Jon Favreau. I had A LOT of criticism about those shows I suspected at the time it was due to Daves influence and his love of prequels, with VERY narrowcast characters that MANY people have no idea who they are… Another words he’s WAY TOO GEEKY. Once they started crowbarring these BORINGAF Ahsoka scenes into MANDO I could see where it was going. Cut to this year… I tried but It’s BORING, SLOW, poorly written and the casting was TERRIBLE… Their animated counterparts on rebels were 💯 better! Full disclosure… I struggled to get through but I bailed after that DUMB Anikan dream sequence, or whatever it was…WHO CARES?! #DumpDaveFiloni !!! *For context Star Wars is my favorite all time movie💯💯💯
