I've never done a review so I'm not sure what to actually write of this. I just finished S3 only a few days ago, and began watching the series about a month and a half to two ago. It's an incredible series. I often do like Netflix's in-house movies and series, but this is just incredible, and my favorite by far. The way the sets and the characters appear, the way their outlooks and attitudes are to each other and their world, I found it easy to watch. Uhtred's an incredible main character and like how any great story goes, the other characters are incredible as well, whether beside him or not. A son of a Lord, taken in by a Viking Earl after a raid, all the things he learned all the things he saw and did, the series does well at making him a hybrid of both. He's respected for his abilities, hated for his past life and present outlooks from that past, and the entire series makes it show. Series highly, highly recommended. Not too sure of the historical accuracy of it, but still, it makes an incredible series. Acting's a whole new type of good too, and there's a surprising amount of good humor for a series about a guy who was taken in by Vikings after a raid and is trying to slash and stab his way back to his native castle and lands.
