There is no complaints about cast, background music, and acting. I loved 70% of the series. But the ending actually ruined everything. Dimple and Rishi, their story remained stuck in the same loop. It is wrong to set such a bad narrative that love and career can’t go side by side. If the love is true, then it never becomes an obstruction of getting what you want. I wish nowadays people could find some ways to romanticise little things, hold onto something, believe in foundation, old school love stories. You can keep everything simple if you want to, but you need to ruin it purposely to become the victim of every story, that’s really sad. We are seeing this more among Gen Z. Storyline didn’t work out this time, same like season 2.

Firstly, the plot of the movie is weak, predictable and meaningless. 4 elderly people living in a remote, extreme cold place , waiting to find a stranded person/stranger on road, asking that stranger to stay in their place, then playing a law game to accuse the person, prove him/her guilty like a cake walk and then announce the punishment. Are you serious? There was no clear message from the movie, no thrill, no twists and turns, only Amitabh Ji preaching long dialogues about law & justice, playing women cards to hit people's sentiments and some shayaris. The story and cinematography is moderate, but watching the movie is a complete time waste. Secondly, I am astonished to see the hypocrisy level of the movie, the motive of the movie was to give justice to the innocent victims and give punishments to the accused and at the same time, they have casted Rhea Chakraborty who was involved in a controversy and to some extent, found guilty as well. The Big Superstar never raise his voice in support of justice for the wrong things that happened in Bollywood in reality, but for his own profit, now playing women's card out of context, all long lectures about law and justice in the movie. It's just a movie, a flop one but it really showed the level of all hypocrites in the bollywood industry.

It's better late than never, so finally I completed watching GG last night and here is my review for the Teen Drama Series. The content of the series focuses on the well-known fashion lines of NY, various types of Grand Events, Manhattan's Elites lifestyles & difference between lifestyles in Brooklyn and Upper East Side. The main characters of the series were Dan, Blair, Chuck, Serena and Nate who all used to go to the same school, Constance in Manhattan and there was an anonymous website named Gossip Girl who used to pull their strings by knowing all their secrets and news received from others and including themselves & publishing the posts online. Apart from High School love stories between Dan and Serena & Chuck and Blair, there were many dramas revolving their lives and revealing the identity of who the Gossip Girl was, is the main thrill in the series. Dan Humphrey is my favorite character in the series because he was the most intelligent person among all. He was an observant, calm and composed individual and always had a plan to complete his journey from being a lonely boy in Brooklyn to steal the entire light of Manhattan on him being the real Gossip Girl. The journey of his character has been portrayed beautifully and got justified at the end of the series. He was an unnoticed student in Constance but with a vision. His character grew well and justified all the phases of his life, being a High School Boy, a College Student, a Writer and a lover. He proved that a pen and a paper and holding information could be more powerful than anyone's social statutory and bank balance. Anyone with his /her secrets out is vulnerable and the one holding is powerful and Dan Humphrey used them smartly in GG website and became a Boon in Disguise. Chuck and Blair was the couple stuck in the same loop from Season 1 till the end. They were able to marry each other after exploring all the options they could have in the entire series which failed because of their own scheming against each other. Chuck was supposed to be the bad guy but forcefully ,the makers tried to pull the sympathy of the audience on the character by making him victim always. All the bad things started happening to the bad guy in order to make him the Good Guy in the show and perfect for Blair. Serena was a light hearted happy go lucky girl in Manhattan. Her character was not boring for a moment, she gave all the scandals in GG and became the IT Girl of NY. Her friendship with Blair is really appreciable and fun. She was lovable and giving too and for sure, she had a bigger heart among all the other characters. She was in search of her one true love and the only good relationship was with Dan and glad they ended up together in the end. Nate was the most honest and handsome character of GG, I wish he could end up with Jenny or Lola. His character had more potential than just being ended up as the Manager of Spectator and a Mayor Candidate. I enjoyed watching Georgina, she had better scheming and manipulative skills than Blair and I loved the way she carried herself throughout the show. She was so much fun to watch. The underrated characters were Jenny, Eric, Rufus Cyrus ,Dorota and Jack Bass. They played their parts beautifully and wish they could get more importance from the makers, especially Jenny. I didn't like the ending to her character, she was an equal competition to Serena and Blair from Brooklyn but unfortunately her part in the show was cut short. Lily and Eleanor can't be missed, they were good too. That's it, no matter what we love Gossip Girl and it's a must watch. All the characters were played well by all the actors and actresses. Kudos !
