No idea how this was/is in Netflix top 10. It's extremely slow & gets even slower at the end, the last episode has about 3 minutes of actual content spread over 40 mins with tons of needless slowmos. Lots of skip forwards & playing at 2x without missing anything is needed to stop you from falling asleep. If you do punish yourself by watching the series, very much suggest you watch the first few episodes, 4 & 5 can be watched in fast forward & then last episode just skip to the last 5 minutes, you won't miss anything.

(Will upgrade the score if the story line turns out to be good, only a few shows in, but looking at other reviews that isn't seeming likely.) Edit: Story turned out to be not so bad so jump from 1 to 3 star but still lots of truly awful distracting CGI. Main reason for the score is how awful the effects & CGI is, i tend to completely ignore all of that stuff and often laugh at people thinking they're professional movie critics rather than just enjoy the story, but they're so bad in this that its actually distracting; think 1970 straight to daytime TV movie and then make it 10 times worse, which isn't helped by the story being slow so nothing to take your mind away from how bad it looks.
