This is an excellent show! Kudos to these folks who are dedicating their lives to catching dangerous sexual predators who prey on minors. I would recommend that all parents of teenage girls watch this show with their daughters... I would like to address some of the negative comments I read, because they absolutely need to be challenged:
(1) These undercover agents are NOT engaging in "entrapment". They work very closely with law enforcement to make certain they are following the laws in that state and gathering credible, bulletproof evidence. Most states now have laws that say it doesn't matter if the minor on the other end of the phone turns out to be an adult, if the perpetrator believes in his mind he's talking to a 14 year-old and engages in illegal behavior, then he should be arrested.
(2) As for the one reviewer who apparently knows someone who was arrested and charged with a felony, and spent her entire review making excuses for the perv, get over it!!! Your brother/husband/friend, whoever it was, wasn't goaded into doing what he did. If you're engaged in online chatting, and you find out you're chatting with a minor, you END THE CONVERSATION RIGHT THERE AND THEN! Easy decision! But remember, these perverts they are catching are online TRYING TO ENGAGE WITH CHILDREN, so let's stop sympathizing with these creeps. No one is forcing them to engage in illegal behavior.
(3) A few reviewers said there are no arrests or convictions being made. Apparently they are not actually watching the show. There are numerous arrests being made. As for convictions, many of these cases are still pending, so as of the taping of the episode they don't have that answer yet. Justice is slow, be patient.
(4) One reviewer inexplicably claimed these guys are being coerced into doing illegal things. That's one of the most insane things I have ever read! Again, watch the show. No one is being coerced into doing anything. It's quite the opposite. These creeps, upon learning they are talking to a 14 year-old, start asking very inappropriate, sexual questions. And when they start sending naked pics, asking for naked pics, masturbating over a video chat, or asking to meet for sex, they have crossed a line and absolutely should be arrested and convicted. Period.
