When entering the cinema to watch this, my bf and I thought it wouldn’t be so great; that it would be a cringe fest trying to appeal to children. **Spoilers possibly** We were completely wrong. This film is absolutely incredible! The animation was so beautifully done and I thought was a good step up from the original. They expanded the world that the emotions live in beautifully, especially where the beliefs are made which are just absolutely gorgeous! The story and the conclusion it comes to is great; and I love that Riley never truly heals from what Anxiety did to try to protect her. It isn’t all perfect in the end as Riley still has to deal with more destructive beliefs and that’s amazing.
