Robert Granger

Great film that flew in totally under the radar for me. You go through just about every emotion during its circa 2hr 15m running time but the feeling I came away with was no matter the differences between us all there's a lot more that bonds us together than keeps us apart. I hardly need to mention that Mads Mikkelson is one of the main characters. I'm a huge fan and would happily watch anything and everything he does. One last thing, it's subtitled but please do not let that put you off as I don't think that will spoil your enjoyment.

This film has received very polarised reviews but I'll say from the get go I thought it was an absolute little gem ! (No plot spoilers) If you like quality horror /sci-fi (as I do) I think you should like this and there are a couple of great plot twists along the way. Some reviewers have mentioned (not in a critical way) that it's a low budget film. That was never something that smacked me in the mouth but I'll leave you to decide. The film slips (easily) into my top 10 horror /sci-fi list. Enjoy !!

Having seen the other reviews for this film mine is going to be so much shorter, primarily because imho this film does not deserve more than a few words. Mediocre at best. It tries to be dark gothic but falls well short and sits in that most uncomfortable place of not being one thing or the other.
