I've never experienced so much stress and tension watching a television show. After getting through S3E2 I had a headache that only got worse trying to watch S3E3. War movies are less stress-inducing than this show. The incessant arguing, shouting, tension, dysfunction, and f-bombs are way over the top. The characters are spiraling downward in dysfunction and mental illness toward a pancake landing at rock bottom, with insane arguments and tension all the way down. And as another reviewer said previously, I'm paraphrasing, "the incessant screaming and fighting, it’s all so repetitious and unnecessary." Sydney is a particularly annoying character. She's an arrogant rookie with very little experience but of course thinks she knows everything. Richie and Carmy are at the center of the dysfunction. Richie is an angry, combative a-hole. The show would improve if they wrote the character out of the series or at least improved his attitude. Carmy is constantly on the verge of a psychotic break as he drags everyone down with him and makes the kitchen a living hell. On the bright side, I like the Marcus character, dessert chef, he's the calm in the center of the storm. He's the ONLY bright side since Claire isn't in S3 so far.
