As far as the book goes, it is a lyrically beautiful, thoughtful and very candid story of Harry’s life from childhood to now. Nothing is off limits to talk about ranging from minute details of family dynamics, his career, travel adventures and relationships, to media intrusion, grief, mental illness and drug & alcohol use. An engaging read, the book took me along a zig zag path of emotions as stories ranged from very sad to affectionate and loving, with quirky anecdotes and nicknames thrown in. The audio book was great - Harry speaks well, is easy on the ear, and uses other accents and voices to bring the story to life. It’s worth completely ignoring the media.
