It’s slow and dialogue-heavy. However it’s a window into the complex emotions and consequential decisions faced by a woman with a terminal cancer. Tilda Swinton is superb as the dying woman who makes a final choice about how to embrace her death. Julianne Moore plays her friend who eventually, and not without trepidation, accepts her friend’s decision. Death walks with us daily and it is wise to look into her face.
