Absolutely loved this, Ted Dawson was at his best. The script was funny, sassy and so very clever, but overall for me the storyline made it. With much ageism in society this was a perfect anecdote.

Brilliant!! I was concerned that being in B&W would take away from the beauty of Italy and the effects from the bloody scenes, but it is spectacularly shot that I think colour would spoil it. The acting is award winning in my opinion, you are totally taken on a journey, even finding myself with a 'soft spot' for the Tom Ripley character, Marge, Dickie, and Freddie are not as likeable as they were in the movie. Small detail like the landlady's cat watching the comings and goings of Ripley gave the clever impression that he was being watched, gave the story another layer of genius in my opinion.

Thought provoking story line. Actually quite terrifying to imagine that actually this whole story line could have happened if different political decisions had been made in the 40's. It also serves as a stark warning to America not to accept far right policies or leaders.

Fantastic peace of fiction based around the amazing 90's rave culture. Loved watching every minute
