The first half of the movie is hell-bent on showing every fight scene until it becomes a repetitive pattern—a battle, then the Mughals in sorrow, then another battle, and more sadness. The sound design and score seem to work against the film; you drown in the music and miss even the slightest bit of emotion that the film possesses. Vicky and Akshay Khanna do the heavy lifting, but they can only do so much to save this badly edited movie.
