i have never left a review on anything but for the love of god do not read this god awful book. there are multiple triggering scenes with disturbing sexual content described in explicit detail that add nothing to the plot and two hundred pages of zero punctuation nearly made me rip my hair out. it took so much for me to even finish this stupid waste of time 650pg book and all the ending made me want to do was go back in time and never read this book. genuinely anyone who left a five star review is either getting paid or didn’t read the book. i wish i could give this book zero stars and make paul murray pay me for the time i spent reading this piece of trash. i wish nothing but the worst for the book pages on instagram that so heavily recommended this book and made me think i should read it. i haven’t dreaded picking up a book so much since high school. there are so many plot lines that he literally just drops when he picks a different story line to focus on. i could complain about this stupid story for eternity, my boyfriend can attest. if you never listen to another review in your life, please listen to this one and spare yourself the agony.
