The movie is good. But you have to ignore the concept of time. The director wanted to emphasize Lady Jessica and downplay Alia. Fine, but time still exists. In the movie somehow everything is accomplished within 8 months which is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. There's a lot of things that happen, we're talking about a planet, not a couple miles. But they wrap it up in 8 months? And young Alia is one of the best characters in the book.
