I first saw this movie on television as a very young child. I loved it and it made a big impression on me at the time. I cried buckets at the end. I have never seen it again, but I keep looking for a home release for 50 years. Imagine my surprise when I found it this year at the grocery store in a display of Christmas movies all priced under $10! It is included in a Warner DVD called 4 Film Favorites Classic Holiday Collection Vol. 2, with 4 Christmas themed movies...All Mine to Give, Holiday Affair, It Happened on 5th Avenue, and Blossoms in the Dust. There was only one copy and I snatched it up - immediately. If you see one, get it. All four are good movies. I watched AMTG for the 1st time in 50 years. it was exactly as I remembered it. I cried buckets at the end. I wish we knew what happened to Robbie, however.
