As a huge fan of the webnovel, I really enjoyed the film. Stunning, if not Marvel-quality visuals, killer sound and score. However, the movie is likely to be confusing for those unfamiliar with the source material. Which, to be fair, is very complicated. For those who are familiar with ORV, expect some deviations. Choices were always going to be made to make the book work on the screen, so that’s no surprise, but some of them are… odd. There’s no mention of the fourth wall, which makes me wonder where the series is headed. Still, a wild ride! And Gilyoung steals the show, as he should! That helmet.
