The most underrated show, I never hear people talk about it. I will say season 2 is what really hooked me. But each season figures out a way to carry on the story without it feeling like it's dragging on. And the new ideas and places they take it aren't cheesy. Very well done.

I thought it was great! I'm a little surprised it didn't score slightly higher on various reviews. Well done, good acting, makes you empathize & think about life back then. Beautiful shots, pretty sure it was filmed in Nova Scotia. It wasn't realistic the way that Rambo isn't, some of the scenes where Declan Harp is 10' tall & bulletproof. But overall I won't dock for that because the show was nicely done and without over the top cheese.

Could have been good. It seemed well produced, decent acting, picture, etc etc. Dropped a star every 2 episodes, could've easily dropped into the negatives. As the other reviews have mentioned, the political & ideological messages are way too forceful. I do have somewhat of a tolerance for it, you pretty much have to if you're going to watch movies nowadays. But they just lay it on way too thick, beyond distracting, by episodes 7 & 8 it has completely taken over the show. It's a poop show.
