Overall, Adopt Me is a great game. I myself sometimes enjoy playing, and it's usually pretty fun, and a great way to make friends.
Although, there is a few downers to it. I'm sad to say, Adopt Me is pretty much a "pay to win" game. A lot of the good items cost robux (ROBLOX's in-game currency), which is very unfair. A lot of kids don't have the extra money for robux. Even so, there's still a lot of things you can buy with Adopt Me's in-game money. Adopt Me has 2 major problems that always get on my nerves.
1- the scammers. They trick naive children into thinking they're "trustworthy" and then they continue to scam them of things like pets or money. They use different phrases from "give me your pet and I'll add a font to it's name" or "trust trade me! you'll get a NFR (neon fly ride) Koala!) My younger sister has gotten scammed multiple times, has of I, and it's very upsetting. Parents, if you're reading this, touch base with your children on scammers. If someone is saying to trust them, don't. I'm not saying everyone is a scammer, but a LOT of them are. And, 2- when Adopt Me has a big update, the whole ROBLOX site crashes. It lags so hard. With the recent update, there was nearly 1.8 million people playing the game! You could imagine the lag that it causes to not only the game, but the whole ROBLOX site.
Even though the game has a few things that could be done to it, it's overall very safe. I rarely ever see online daters, which is a major pro. The community is fairly kind, and the game is definitely child-worthy. It can teach your child responsibility, and they can have fun while doing it.
