The best RomCom I have ever seen in my 18 years alive. 'What's Wrong With Secretary Kim' has heart, cuteness, drama, humor, and more sweet moments than I can count. I shed some tears and laughed a lot.
I wanna watch it again!
It's interesting to think that 'Squid Game' of all shows introduced me to 'Goblin: The Great & Lonely God' to 'What's Wrong With Secretary Kim'.
I'm planning on watching 'Born Again' next. Born Again is about a reincarnated love triangle.
!!! WARNING!!! SPOILERS AHEAD!!!
What I didn't like about the show was that the writers used trauma to create romance. They could have written the romance better. I appreciate that Kim Mi-So and Lee Yeong-Joon sought each other out for closure and healing.
I also didn't like that Lee Yeong-Joon and his brother Lee Sung-Yeon fought over Mi-So. There's gotta be a Raoul in every love story right (Phantom reference)?
I HATE Yeong-Joon's parents. ESPECIALLY his mother!!!
I LOVE that Kim Mi-So took 8 episodes to agree to date Yeong-Joon, but on her terms. She didn't immediately fall for his charms and isn't afraid to tell him off.
I also love that Yeong-Joon goes out of his way to make Mi-So feel special and dedicate his life to her (He really tried out for the boyfriend role in episode 3). I'm glad that instead of the smart and resourceful secretary falling for the narcissistic boss, the roles are reversed.
