Worst Denzel movie. Horrible acting by all. Pace was off. Script was all over the place. Too long, erratic, and predictable.

This show is absolutely outstanding. Depicts Jesus and his disciples as regular, normal people with all of their imperfections. Raised Catholic but not a regular churchgoer, but this series has me mesmerized. I can't get enough of it. Even my husband who is one of the biggest critics out there is watching intently with me. Wonderfully written, sincere, moving. Sets and cast are amazing. Give it a try. You will not be sorry.

After having read the book, I was expecting the movie to follow the same course, but Scorcese chose to concentrate on the relationship between Mollie and Earnest vs. highlighting the nascent FBI solving the mystery of the murders. Way too long. Could have been an hour shorter. . Don’t spend your money in a theater, but worth watching on TV.

This show is awesome. If you go to YouTube to get a little background, you will see that they spared no expense to obtain authenticity in all details including wardrobe, language, buildings, topography. Story is engaging, acting is supberb. Hope this series continues to the end. Great job by NatGeo.
