I watched this movie the other day and absolutely LOVED it! I saw it in IMAX, so I recommend watching it in IMAX if you're able to. You feel like you're in the movie when you see it in IMAX.
This review will cover some spoilers, so be aware if you haven't seen it already.
Anxiety is truly the villain in Inside Out 2. This movie does an outstanding job of showing how anxiety can take over and change everything about you including behavior, actions, etc.
At the end when Anxiety makes Riley have an anxiety/panic attack, Joy and the other main emotions come in at the last minute. It takes Joy two times to get to Anxiety because of the power and energy she caused from running around the console over and over again.
I love the line, "You don't get to choose who Riley is." This line proves the point that emotions don't get to choose who you are as a person, but you are the only one that can decide who you are and who you are not.
This movie is definitely relatable for pre-teens/teenagers that are experiences new things and start to have new emotions. That's what Riley goes through in this movie: becoming a teenager and having to deal with what comes with being older.
If you enjoyed the first Inside Out movie, I definitely recommend watching this sequel. In my opinion, Inside Out 2 is better than the first movie, but then again, that's just my opinion.
