I remember watching the show when I was about 10 years old. Every Saturday @ noon. The show with Dick Clark as the host was just part of every Saturday. Loved the performer's and dancers. The interviewing with the amazing Dick Clark after the performances made me feel like I knew them better. Another piece of fun would be watching Dick Clark counting down to the #1 record of the week, with it being played and danced to. I the peak of Bandstand, of course, was the Dance Contest, bringing out many, different styles, dressing, AND the prizes each couple could win!
