I got an opportunity in my childhoods to grow up with the tribal community which has portrayed in the movie, so, based on my own experience, I would say Director Tha Se Gnanavel took this film with 100 percent honesty with the tribal community. His groundwork was too meticulous. Surya acting is second to none, so there is no need to describe much about his acting, and moreover, he also played a pervasive role like an advocate. But my entire focus towards Sanghani and Rajaknnu characters that have required complete transformation. They both did well in that movie, and I would say they lived in that character rather than acted in the film. Mainly Shangani's character was fantastic. Definitely, the national award is waiting for her.
The storyline may have the challenge of becoming like a documentary film. But, the Director foot-printed his capability by handling the movie in such a way to become has featured film. Hats off to the Director, the cinematographer, and the music director. Particularly the BGM was too good. Overall, this movie is one of the precious stones embedded in the Crown of the Indian Cinema.
