Douglas Dillard

First, I have to admit that I'm a fan of how Cavill and Reeves played the role so I came skeptical from the start. That said, Corenswet did a great job. Unfortunately, the plot, the pace, and the real world references didn't allow me to enjoy this movie completely. If I wanted references to facist dictators, forced wars in other countries, and idiotic people easily swayed by the media and online social media posts I'd have kept my money and watched youtube and tik tok videos. I get enough of that already. There were some excellent cameos and references to a few movies I previously enjoyed. Crypto was a nice addition. The special effects were excellent, but some of the sudden changes that occurred in the movie were just silly. Overall, this is an Ok movie that will do much better on cable and TV.
