I can't help but think that matrix 4 WANTS you to feel old. It quite literally zooms in on the wrinkles. This may be just me but I hate feeling old. It also doesn't feel grandiose. The original felt new, different, epic. Part 4 feels old, tired and insignificant. Resurrected it might be but more like a zombie shambling towards your...wallet.
