I just watched the movie, and overall, it was a disappointing experience. The first half was dull and failed to capture interest, though the interval portion offered a glimmer of hope. However, the second half was weighed down by a poorly written screenplay, with scenes feeling disjointed and patched together rather than seamlessly tailored. Despite the rich visuals, they lacked context and didn’t add any real value to the storytelling.
The film had nothing new to offer. The predictable story followed the same tired formula we've seen countless times. Ram Charan's performance was extraordinary in terms of action sequences, but his unnecessary elevation scenes—especially the in-your-face moments—felt torturous in some areas. With no comedy to provide relief, the movie ended up being a slog.
It didn’t feel like a Shankar movie at all, lacking the originality and grandeur associated with his work. Flashy visuals alone can’t salvage a film when the story is repetitive and uninspired.
