Sweet but very schlocky film, probably meant as a family feature. Osmen's character is a bit overdone, especially in her dancing, begging scenes, which to some might seem obnoxious.

An excellent film by Neapolitan director Paolo Sorrentino, filled with autobiographical material from his childhood in Naples, redolent of the work of the great Federico Fellini. Bear in mind the difference between American coming of age stories from the 1980s and those of southern Italians.

Fantastic artistry, action, and suspense, along with subtle recommendations for determination, empathy and understanding of differences among us.

A really interesting film about trying to find our way through life, young or old, when faced with too many possibilities, good and bad.
