The build up was great but the twist at the end made me go back and watch the movie again a couple of times to realize that it had a huge gaping hole in the plot. Without giving too much away, cousin Marv (James Gandolfini) had no idea about the cleanup Bob (Tom Hardy) had been responsible for. Yet, Bob’s monologue with cousin Marv suggested otherwise. In other words the plot leaves out a lot and leaves us wondering, did Bob perform the cleanup out of sheer love for his cousin and never told him what he did? We’ll never know.
