I recorded this when it was on and have only now been able to watch it as a binge-watch over 2 days. Yes, I agree that it is unlikely that so much could happen to a small group of characters in such a short time frame but it does make for sit back and just go with the flow entertainment and I really enjoyed it. Some of the scenes are brutal and the subject matter dictates this. There’s some good acting, I think Lesley Manville and Helen Hunt play their parts with real aplomb. I was pleased to see there will be another series, beats the dreadful War of the Worlds BBC drama hands down.
