This is an fascinating chronicle for several reasons. It shows how the original movie was assembled with a negative agenda predicated on the Beatles breaking up. The relationships are plainly deeper and more complex than we were originally led to believe and all involved (apart from Lindsay-Hogg) come across more sympathetically than in the original. The music is obviously great and the creative process is startling. You can see how George struggles to get his (only) very good work recognised in an environment where others are turning in contemporary masterpieces. Most negative reviews I have seen are from those who stopped watching in he first episode. Please persevere; it is well worth the effort.
