Very frustrating read. The plot wavers between "Are you kidding me?" to "Why are you not leaving?" The Joanne character isn't self aware on any level, she doesn't trust what she sees and hears, all the while believing extremely unplausable explanations. And the ending is abrupt. Very unsatisfied.
