Charis Rodgers

This is one of those anime where you hate the main character but you’re in too deep to stop watching. Sawako is ditzy and naïve. People mistreat her and she turns the other cheek because she always tries to see the best in people, to her own detriment. Her inner monologue is hella corny and soap opera-ish; no teenage girl talks like that. Simply put, she’s basic and oblivious. Thankfully the other characters keep things interesting or I would have stopped watching many episodes ago. This has been a painful, grating, asinine watch.
