I read the book. Usually the movie disappoints. This did not. Some reviewers wanted subtlety. This theme is not about subtlety. It's in-your-face reality and, if you've been in their shoes, you'd know it. The reviewers who have panned it need to get off their high horses and give credit where credit is due. Glenn Close and Amy Adams are exactly what I pictured when I read the book.
