The book is incredibly well written. The author allows you to feel what characters like Bebe, Izzy, Mrs. McCullough, or Mrs. Richardson feels through her writing. The complex characters throughout the book are relatable. It's easy to find pieces of yourself in certain characters. I like how the book doesn’t have an uncomplicated happy ending. Life is complicated and life doesn’t always give us happy endings.
