I thought the movie Nope was just okay. It had some good ideas but could have been executed and paced better. The acting was strong, and the movie's premise was interesting. Still, it felt like it needed more development in certain areas, especially the correlation between Steven Yeun's character and the Gordy scenes. I also didn't care for the ending and thought it could have been done better. Overall, it was decent, and I am happy I saw it in the theatre, but I wouldn't say it's excellent. I want to say that give me a movie like this, which takes chances and swings for the fences, and even though I feel it misses more than connects, it feels alive on screen.
