This is my favorite show to watch. I have rewatched it countless of times over the past week. The only thing that I don’t like is there weren’t more episodes for me to watch. Other than that the acting, characters, emotion, and the plot were amazing. All of the characters actually looked like teens, which in most Netflix series and/or shows, they don’t. This show didn’t have that one character who is “perfect”. It also shows real problems. It also showed great representation for the lgbtq+ community. Most shows, when they have gay characters, only focus on that but with this they don’t only focus on the homophobia but also the main problem of the show, the royal family and its tradition. Young Royals also normalizes acne, there is not one character who has THE perfect skin, which I love since acne needs to be more normalized, which follows on how none of the characters are “perfect”. The actors did an amazing job of portraying the characters. No show has ever made me love or really hate characters. The emotion put into each of their roles was wonderful to see. Even if I’ve already seen this show over and over again, it still amazes me with some scenes. I still feel the same emotions that I did the first time I watched it, which is great because a good show isn’t supposed to be easily forgotten. If you haven’t watched Young Royals yet I definitely recommend it and you will never regret it.
