No Remorse very appropriately describes how Clancy's well written character was treated in this awful adaptation. None of the supporting themes of the novel are presented in the headlong rush to stream as much mindless action as possible. In war, back home, wife dead, recovery, back to war. The plot and dialog are pure boilerplate lowbrow action movie drivel. None of Clancy's genius survives this horrible translation.
Jordan is good, but is essentially wasted as he flexes and shoots his way through the movie. The man can act, so why not give him the chance?
