Graham Cooke

Recorded in December 1974. I bought my copy on the day it came out and 47 years on it still amazes me. Stunning virtuosity. It's not the easiest to listen to - it demands so much of the listener. But listen carefully and it draws you in. Mahavishnu at their best in my humble opinion.

Not sure where to start. Heard the album played live, in full, at the WOMAD Festival by Anoushka and was incredibly moved by the whole experience. The album doesn't disappoint. It needs, no, demands to be listened to carefully and every playing reveals more. It is one of the best musical experiences I have enjoyed. Definitely an album that should be in record collections. An ideral way to "get into" her music and the sounds of the sub continent.
