I wanted to like this book I really did. But I just felt 1/2 to even 3/4 of the way through what is the point of this book. Felt like it was a choppy and challenging read with awkward transitions of being in the present to randomly backtracking to the past often making me go back and reread things to be like what just happened. Character development was poor in some aspects. Almost like she was trying to develop these minor characters but kinda failed in the overall relevance of the big picture. And the ending…forget about it. I like when reading a book there is a sadness to the story ending because you fall in love with the characters. That was lacking for me majorly in this story. And again the ending was super uninspiring and again left me confused going wait what just happened/thats it. Made me want to reenact the scene from silver linings playbook
