I debate some of the hype on his website as discussing “major sports topics of the day”. He talks about football and ONLY football. Except for the occasional mention of a controversial basketball star Vin Scully’s passing, there is NO substantial depth to any sports other than football. I know of no other sports talk personality who knows so little about sports and has a singular focus on one sport. A shame. Expand your realm, Colin. Talk about baseball during baseball season. How bout some MEANINGFUL discussion of hockey and baseball. Analyze NBA teams and not just discuss the highly overpaid NBA stars who care only about being paid rather than playing the game on consecutive nights (Kyrie). If Cowherd spent a fraction of the time delving into other sports as he does football, it would be a much more interesting and listenable show.
