Bruce Weil

I have never posted about a movie before, but this one is so perfectly constructed, full of wit, drama, and heart, and of course, gorgeous original music, I can't help myself. When I was teaching music, I showed this to the 11th graders every year, and they loved it. Having now seen it over ten times, I realize it is not unlike a Beethoven symphony -- if you are really paying attention, you hear something beautiful and new each time. Be prepared to laugh and cry, sometimes at the same time.
