I have for years watched, played and been a huge fan of the FNAF games. Scott's creation of the FNAF universe is a one-of-a-kind amazing game series that is guaranteed to live on for decades to come. I was heavily anticipating the movie but was dubious of whether it would live up to the hype. It wasn't perfect, I loved the movie but I was left feeling a little lacklustre, possibly from my love and high expectations from the games. The games are terrifying with amazing jumpscares, it's beautiful horror. So I was hoping that the film was going to be scary but I was disappointed by the lack of horror in the movie honestly. And some of the lore didn't add up, so it was disappointing in that sense. I would hope that if there is a sequel the horror aspect will be amped up hugely! Also, a Markiplier cameo would be great, gotta include the King of FNAF!

Spoilers ahead. That's almost two hours of my life I will never get back, could have watched something worthwhile in that time. This is marketed as a "comedy horror" yet I did not find any parts humourous nor scary, this is more of a thriller. The acting is very good but the plot just felt boring, un-film-esk (felt a bit like I was watching a cooking show when the dishes were being introduced), and artistically over the top. It just missed the mark for me, which I am disappointed about because I was looking forward to it. The only part I was actually impressed with was the twist with Tyler but that's about it. The film failed to entice, interest, and pull my attention in to actually enjoy it. Found myself wanting to look at my phone on more than one occasion. Would not recommend.
