If I could give this movie zero stars, I would—or even negative stars if that were an option. The film is riddled with incomplete storylines that go nowhere and is laden with excessive sexual innuendos and foul language. If you're considering taking your kids to see it, think twice. The humor falls flat, and the content is far from appropriate for younger audiences.
One particularly troubling scene involves Beetlejuice and his ex-wife heading towards a bed, followed by a barrage of clothes being thrown off and crude jokes about her being a "soul sucker." Additionally, the subplot involving the ex-wife searching for her missing husband (Beetlejuice) is confusing and poorly executed, leaving viewers without any explanation of his disappearance and why she wants to reunite.
Winona Ryder’s wig/ hair look unconvincing, adding to the film's lackluster presentation. Overall, the movie feels poorly written and directed. Save your money and skip this one.
