As an avid fan of the book series, I am very disappointed with this show. I spend every episode trying to pretend that it isn’t remotely related to the book series. This would have been a wonderful show if the time was taken to write it more accurately with the books or if the writers had just created their own original story. By skipping around and changing when, how, and where certain events occurred, the writers have taken the characters from multi dimensional to flat and lackluster. I slogged through season one and am slogging through season two. If there is a season three, the writers need to make a vast improvement. The actors are doing well with the steaming pile of slag they are given, thus, the second star
