Charlie Hunnam and Laurie Metcalf are award worthy, as is the writing and direction. The tone is consistently dark, bieak and unforgiving. This show has Emmy noteriaty all over it. Hunnam is truly fantastic in a career defining role.

Unusual, intelligent adult horror film written, edited and directed by David Prior. Brilliantly put together ( top of the line production values across the board ) acted with ferocity by James Badger Dale. Terrific atmosphere, some truly creepy scare sequences and in no way resembles the tone of it’s trailer ( which is a small sequence in the film, probably used by marketing to draw in the younger crowd ) A really pleasant surprise, highly recommended I.J.S.

The ultimate Popcorn movie with extra fun and butter. Wingard succeeds where Dougherty and Edlund failed - a MonsterVerse movie that delivers the goods ( spectacular action , humor , colorful cinematography, sharp editing and state of the art FX ) while keeping the human narrative contributions well paced.
