A while back I finished watching Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot, Miss Maple and Foyle's War. They were 'vintage' masterpieces by themselves in three different aspects and once they were over, I was missing the detective feeling those dramas brought, for some time. Recently, just by some sort of an accident, I stumbled upon this beauty of a crime drama series. In the beginning, I felt ' Ah, so many long, tedious 90 minutes of British Crime'. But, soon I found myself fallen in love with the series. However, I must add that not every episode is a brilliant piece. Some are easily predictable. But, nothing is perfect, eh?
All in all, I find Midsomer Murders is an excellent drama series to watch.
