Your silly politically correct opinions will certainly be challenged by this thoughtful thriller that will no doubt polarise everyone all over again. I loved it though because it is less gray and more black and white. The evil meets its end, here, today, in the world and not the hereafter. It's hard not to cheer when the bad guys go down. I guess i did cheer. If you support "helping" the offender, then shove back to your cushy hole. Let's Speak for the Dead.

As usual critics know balls all. As an audience member I Love this film. Vengeance and justice are two elemental philosophies, and this is why the film is so satisfying. What father would not fantasise about eviscerating the murderer of his daughter? Butler's character fulfils that need in every parent to have a brutal wrong righted. Fox's smarmy arrogant egotistical lawyer is the one who must learn his lesson the hard way. This is an amazing film, and you need to see it.
