I give Michelle Pfeiffer and Gillian Anderson 5 stars each! Their performances are engaging and realistic. However, I have no idea what Viola Davis is trying to accomplish with her crazy sneering. I just watched Michelle O’Bama’s DNC speech on You Tube to see if I missed anything about how she spoke. Not once did she bare her teeth. She was lovely. Viola Davis’s performance doesn’t do Michelle credit and only makes me what to press fast forward. I have great regard for these First Ladies so I am sticking with it, especially for Betty’s story. Kudos to Pfeiffer and Anderson for treating Betty and Eleanor with such respect!
